I am planning a long car trip with my boyfriend for this summer. We are trying to figure out if it would be better to rent a car or to take one of our own cars. We are planning on driving through several states and I am having trouble finding an affordable rental car deal. My car has over 96,000 miles on it and his needs new tires. He may not be able to afford to buy new tires before the trip, and we are afraid my car may not make it 2,000 miles round trip with that many miles on it already. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do? Any good deals on rental cars that you know of? Any help would be appreciated!
My 11 year old car is on its last legs and has no heat and bad brakes. My credit is bad, i can’t get a new car, dont have the money immediately available to get a used car, so i have decided to rent a nice car from enterprise on a long-term (monthly) rental. Not the cheapest option but in the end, it’s the best option for me for several reasons.
My question is – their insurance (LDW) is expensive. the daily insurance rates on it total to about . While i can "afford it", i would much rather carry my own insurance. I have found plenty of information on non-owner liability – but is there any way to cover the Loss damage (AKA Full Coverage) with insurance i buy specifically to cover a rental car?
I do not have a credit card, so unfortunately that’s not an option.

of course a service agent is cleaning cars and drivin them to whereever however I will be working alot in the sun and I do not want to get darker. What can I do or use to stop my skin from tannin in the sun or getting darker?
